Skills for Care Employer of the Year
Purple Balm has been awarded the Exeter College Skills Awards Employer of the Year for 2009. The award reflects the excellence of NVQ training provided by Purple Balm in the Care area.
Purple Balm was nominated by the NVQ Assessors team who regularly work with Purple Balm and their students and were impressed by both the quality and range of training provided.

Purple Balm's Hazel Proctor said, "Having been responsible for liaising with the College for our staff qualifications, NVQ 2,3 & 4, I had the privilege of being nominated and collecting the Employer of the Year Award on behalf of Purple Balm Ltd. As a fairly young company, it was a proud moment for everyone at Purple Balm Ltd; the award is now proudly displayed in the reception area at the office."
Talking about the award Purple Balm’s Michelle Eccleston-Barnes said, “We were delighted to win this award as we see it as an accolade to our training team and services. It reflects our commitment to quality care for our clients by providing the best possible training for our staff and our belief in the professional and personal development of all of our staff.”
The awards are organized by Exeter College in conjunction with City and Guilds, Skills for Care and Business Link.
